DISABILITY SENSITIZATION AT INDIGO AIRLINES

Wheeling Happiness is helping Indigo enhance its customer experience for differently abled. Deepa Malik regularly conducts workshops for the ground and cabin support staff of Indigo to sensitize them towards different types of disabilities, so that they are better able to serve passengers with the disability. The workshop trains staff from across the country on services like Wheelchair transfers – types of wheelchairs to be used for different disabilities, different methods of transferring wheelchair passengers depending on the severity of disability, psychological handling and respectful interaction with differently-abled passengers.
